Curiosity Club is a 5 week programme, with each week taking the young person further out of their comfort zone and in to a real working environment. By the fourth week, the student has organised a self-initiated meeting with an expert of their curiosity in the local community.
In the past, we've been to Battersea Cats & Dogs, Zandra Rhodes Fashion, Guys' & St. Thomas' Hospital, Ministry of Sound, and dRMM Architects.
We're always on the look out for experts, if you can give up 20 minutes of your time one day for us to come and visit you at work, please register your interest here.
”The legal adviser with whom Olori sat was very impressed with her maturity and interest in the work of the court. We had a debrief afterwards and Olori had a discussion with myself and a fellow judge about the day's business. She presents as a very confident and mature young woman who is a credit to her school and your group. She has a real interest in law and was keen to talk to me about the route to becoming a lawyer. She would like to come to court again to see some trials in action and she hopes to be in touch to arrange something for half term. I am happy to support her in any way I can." - Judge at Islington Magistrates Court, who we visited in Round 3
